Toronto, October 25, 2005—Of the many rumors circulating at last night’s packed International Festival of Authors Welcome Party the following can be confirmed by the organization; Chip Kidd will indeed be participating in both of Saturday afternoon’s graphic novel events.
Following the tremendous success of his lecture at last year’s IFOA, master book designer Chip Kidd will make an encore appearance at this year’s Festival with a pair of events in the Brigantine Room this Saturday. At 2 p.m. Kidd joins American graphic novelist Charles Burns on stage for an interview after his presentation of Black Hole. At 4 p.m. Kidd will join the classic graphic novels Round Table with Burns, Seth and Chris Ware.
